Default Anybody ever taken ABS out of their truck?

I have a 1998 2500 extended cab 4x4 5.9 With a 5 speed. I had to replace the front wheel hubs. I opted for the ones with out the ABS sensors. It came equiped with 4 wheel ABS. I would at the very least just like to get the light on the dash off. I tried pulling fuses, disconnecting the wiring harness. Nothing. Any suggestions?

Cut the wires that go to the light behind the dash.

PO pulled all the wires underneath the truck for ABS..also pulled the clips in the relay box,and left the sensors...all i had to do was pull the bulb, it took about 6-8 minutes to do that...

been running without ABS for at least the last 10K miles to my knowlege i like it better without ABS..cause im in more control..i know safety wise it is better to have it..but eff that noise...none of our vehicles have ABS

although i think if your state/county requires emissions and ****..wouldnt not having functioning ABS cause you to fail your test?

i also got rid of my ABS. i needed wheel bearings for the front and the ones with abs were over 300 and the ones withought abs were only 110....so i cut the wire to the hug and then took the bulb out of my dash......was all about 40k ago

So does removing the front abs not screw with the pcm at all? Wouldn't it be throwing codes like crazy? Or are they unrelated? Makes no difference to me, mine doesn't have front abs anyway, but I was just curious
