Damn thats good gas mileage compared to me, I get around 200 if I'm lucky, but I dont drive any highway miles

 

That sounds about right. I have the 3.92 gears and drive 40 miles each day to work and back. I roughly get 260 to 280 a tank if I let it go past half. Usually I fill up at half a tank just cause its a little easier on the wallet each time. But when I do fill it up at the light I put about 23 gal in it. If I do it on the line just before E I put about 20gal in it. So when I calculate my mpg its around 12 usually. But I didn't buy her for the gas mileage. I have a mustang for that. I bought her for her sheer beauty and power.

 

After I replaced all my spark plugs and crap I got 16 mpg but after I got exhaust it went back down to around 13 or 14 mpg bc I get on it too much now.

You said you got 264 on a full tank but the light never came on? There should be a law against posting anymore MPG threads!

 

264 miles to a full tank? Sounds like you're doin pretty good to me! I'm getting about 240 to a tank. Stop complaining.

 

Don't get your panties in a wad! I was just curious as to if this was normal. I didn't buy it for the mileage either, i just drive back and forth to work 10 miles a day. I just happened to make a trip to st.louis in it to give it a good run and see what all it would need and not need.

 

thats about normal. my rpms are a bit lower at 70, mine are at about 1500. im on 35's with 3.55's, my digital gas thing stays consistant between 15-16 on all highway and 11-12 around town, and i reset it on fill ups so i know its accurate

 

326 and the light came on so i filled it up.. somthing like 15.52 mpg average..

My light comes on at 23 gallons. I get 12-14 city and 15-16 highway. Unless I drive like a maniac, then its around 10.
