i have a fl truck in NC... ya know, the one in my sig.. yea, no rust what so ever... ya gotta get it coverd in mud, then go on the roads... then wash the mud off, the salt comes with it.. lol trust me, all my prior vehicles rotted, being from NY, i know this kind of veh..
i was born an raised in florida and all of my other rig's are from florida, i know the southern trucks lol every bolt will break loose with a breaker bar, here all the bolts just break period
yak your truck looks like its the same colour as mine.... If it is, it's 'Emerald Green Metallic', Dodge paint code PGS.... might help ya out come bodywork time...
The sad part is the only rust on the truck is on the back bumper and is newer than the rest of the panels but its rusted from the saltwater from backing a boat into the water for close to 12 years

Thats how my dad's 3rd gen is, his back rim's leaf springs and bumper are pealing because all he does is use it for the boat's and sometimes a haytrailer during the fall.
