Hows your plenum? If you havent addressed that issue first, it would be a good idea! Blown plenum decreases performance, among other things. I would start there and make sure its tuned up well. I just bought the SCT programmer, and Im more than satisfied...there are lots of threads on all of this in search.

SCT for the programmer no doubt. So far I'm happy with my Comp Cam. Headers for the most part don't matter as long as you get a good name brand. Don't buy the cheap ebay ones.

SCT programmer, Pacesetter long tubes, and maybe a 210x from Krc but that might be to steep of a cam

Well here's where we need more info. You said it's an 01 what are the other details of the truck? What do you use it for? Do you tow? Is it a DD? Are you gonna race it? all important stuff that needs to be answered to help you out

get the 2.02 heads, 1.7 RR's if your rebuilding and want horsepower, Hughes Airgap FI Intake (this will eliminate plenum) not sure for cam.............Bluebeast2 has alot of goodies, which i would like to see more videos of lol.

Also is emissions testing done in your area? Does it affect your truck? I was worried about it but I guess didn't really need to so look into that.

95Ram mentioned 1.7rr's some cams (like mine) are set up to use 1.6 rockers. 1.7's will give them a higher lift and unless your springs are setup for the added lift your gonna have some issues. I would stick with what the manufacturer says to use. less headache in the end
