Default headlight switch/fog lights

My fog lights have stopped working, checked fuses, although none were specifically for foglights, they all looked good. Could the "pull out for foglights" headlight switch be the culprit? the wiring all looks fine also, thanks for any ideas on this!

Welcome to DF!

If you have factory fog lights, there is a single fuse for them in the PDC under the hood that you should check.

If that tests good, or you have aftermarkets spliced into the headlight switch, the switch may very well have failed. The factory switches are known to be weak.

I'd check that fuse first though.

Get a voltmeter and start checking things. Don't go out and buy a new switch unless you know for sure it's bad (I made this mistake and it cost me $60 when I could have fixed it for nothing). My fog lights quit working because of a splice that corroded and fell apart. Just check for voltage starting at the light and work your way back toward the switch.
