Heres the simplest way to solve your problem, take your headers off. Put them in a box, and ship them to me. No more worries.

I guess that picture doesn't show the angle correctly. The drive shaft is right next to the pipes, not under them. I can jounce the truck up and down and it just barely rubs on the pipes. That's why I think it will just take minimal modification to make it work correctly. Does the front drive shaft really flex a whole lot? I never really took that into consideration. I was wondering, is the drive shaft from a 1500 a lot thinner than a 2500? Or is the front diff. a little more centered or something? Maybe this was summits reasoning for not listing these pipes to fit a 2500. I kind of want to shield the pipes down there too because as you can see in the picture, the rubber boot that covers the slip yoke is pretty close to the pipes too and I don't want to melt it. If I can get enough clearance down there to fabricate a heat shield I can keep the heat off the entire drive shaft which would be a plus. Anyone have any recommendations on mufflers and pipes after the Y pipe? Like I said...it's two freakin 3" pipes into a 3" Y...and I have no idea where to go from there. Should I split off into two more 3" pipes into dual mufflers, or maybe two 2.5" pipes? I don't know what kind of mufflers to go with either. All I know is that I want something that gives a deep rumble sound, none of that raspy popping sounding stuff. This guy I know can put some knock off Flomaster's on there real cheap, but since I already kinda splurged on the headers, I don't know if it's worth cheeping out on the mufflers. Thanks for the good words guys, I'm pretty stoked to get this thing on the road...again.

Do a single 3 in to a duel 2.5 out. Thats the largest you can go on a 360 w/o killing your low end due to loss of exhaust velocity. Thats what im running on my right now, and it sounds great. I recomment the super 44 from flowmaster, again thats what im running and it sounds beast.

If moneys tight you can go with THRUSH fully welded mufflers, sounds exactly like the 40 series flowmasters, check out some sound clips on you tube about them, they are only 29.95 i think at summit and prob just as good, check em out....id give em a try next time

Thats one tight fit, time to get out the BFH & have at it lol.
2.5" duals if you have a few things, stock motor, couple bolt ons, 2.25 maybe better choice.
