Do you have any opinions on any specific LSD or lockers, front or rear? I was looking at those Aussie lockers because they're 250$ and the few others that I've looked into are around 600$. That and I like the idea of spider gear replacement over carrier replacement.

Anyone that is going to change their OEM timing chain needs to pay attention to the timing marks when they put the engine at TDC. One side of the timing gears has a line cut in it and the other (180º around the gear) has a dimple.
At first, I couldn't figure out why the new gears timing mark wasn't lining up as it should.
The crank shaft timing mark was at 12 o'clock (as it should be) and the cam timing gear was at 12 o'clock also (it should be at 6 o'clock).
After I wiped off the old gears, I noticed the dimple in the top of the cam gear. So my engine wasn't at TDC to begin with, but I didn't move the crank or the cam when I pulled off the old gears, so I don't believe that it will hurt anything.
I think my chain was a little worn out and I think I can see where the timing cover gasket was leaking.

Nah, I wanted to get it fixed and there weren't any double rollers available locally. The new gear set is made by Cloyes though.
I'm hoping that I'll be able to put the Superchips on the 91 tune with 87 in the tank now that I have a good tight timing chain.

Did y'all use the Fel Pro gasket that is metal with rubber on each side?
I got a Victor at first and that was paper, then I saw the Fel Pro at advance and got it then returned the Victor set.
