Default Do I have all the parts covered?

I believe my timing cover is the source of my coolant leak and not that freeze plug after all.
Since I have to take the cover off I figure I may as well replace the water pump, the front main seal (I think that's what its called) and the timing chain/gears with double rollers.
Also since I'm going to be working on it anyway I figure I may as well replace the rear main seal and the oil pump.

So tell me if I'm missing anything.

Should I get this one or get the Mopar Performance set from Summit?

You'll need the repair sleeves for the harmonic balancer, and timing cover, new oil pick up screen, and oil pump shaft. That's all I can think of, now. I checked the engine and cooling system part prices on what you listed. Rockauto.com was $50 cheaper than Sadvance, including shipping, and that was with Cloyes high performance timing chain, and gear and a new Bocsh OE waterpump.

Replace that annoying bypass hose to the waterpump too.

He probably could, but if his luck is anything like mine?(and I hope it isn't) That hose is gonna rip or crack. The hose is cheap, replace it.

Or he could have my luck and have the hose be stuck to the intake manifold. I tried everything to get it off. It's still there! Luckily, I was replacing it with a Hughes AirGap, so I let it be.

Sheriff, I got that same Fel-Pro kit that includes all the gaskets too. Your water pump will come with a gasket, but I opted to use the wp gasket from Fel-Pro. The other guy is right, the Fel-Pro kit does come with a front seal and also the repair sleeve (I did not have to use the sleeve). Also, make sure you have, or have access to a good harmonic balance puller, that goes inside the balancer, not on the outside. It took a few cominations of pullers from our auto hobby shop to find one that would work. I would also recommend the upper bypass hose. Also, it helped me to take the fan shroud off. This is just all from my experience, might be different for you.

When I did mine, the hose got messed up on the end, but it was still long enough to cut it off and fit it back on. The tube was a different story. I replaced the O-ring, and it leaked, tried it 2 or 3 more times, still leaked. A new tube came with the O-ring, it worked the first time.

As far as the o-ring, mine leaked too after I replaced the o-ring with one that fit on the end of the tube (took it to NAPA to find one.) But, when I put the new one on that came with the waterpump, it hasnt leaked. Make sure you put some coolant on the o-ring as lube before you put it in, so it doesnt tear the ring.
