Do I have all the parts covered?

I finally got a break in the weather(I hate rain) and I'm off today (well yesterday now) and tomorrow, so I can put my truck back together.
I slept a good bit and ended up waking up shortly before dark so I was only able to do a little bit before it started getting chilly and I said screw it and packed it up till tomorrow.
I pulled the pan and pump, then the rear main bearing cap and loosened up all of the other bearing cap bolts about 1 turn from touching.
The reason I said screw it and packed it up was because the crank didn't budge and the seal wasn't pushing out with a screwdriver.
Should I give the crank a couple love taps with the 3lb dead blow or pry it a little to get it to drop?
Should I use a punch and a hammer to get the seal moving instead of just pushing on it with a screw driver?

Well, I took the truck to work last night and when I got home I looked at the inspection cover to see if there was oil on it and there was...crap.
I'm thinking that it is leaking between the bearing cap and the oil pan gasket. The way I understood it, I should have put RTV in the gasket groove where the rear main cap meets the block. That is what I did. Should I run some RTV all the way through that groove in the bearing cap? I'll know for sure if it is the pan gasket or the rear main seal when I pull the pan back off, but that is what I'm thinking it is.
