id just replace the one on tailshaft just for the hell of it (if when you pull the codes, it doesnt pull this sensors code), and do the one on the axle....thats my honest opinion....

I thought 98 and up didnt have the sensor on the tailshaft

After thinking about it, i would say the one on axle is the one that does the most work....if the sensor at the tranny is measuring the speed, its only getting crank speed, and the one on the axle would get the at wheel speed, for they are rwd, and its in the rear diff. (obviously), so how could the one in the tranny get an accurate reading of the speedo? Its more logical that teh axle one would read the speedo... Thinking about this makes me think you just have to change the axle one....but i could be completly wrong....this is jsut my .02 cents on how i think it works

ok that makes sense....except for my OD problem ?!?......sh*t maybe the two problems arent even reated i just assumed they were, and that the sensor in the tailshaft would fix it since its part of the trans ?

Think about, take what i said abov, and then in 98 they removed the tailshaft sensor....because thats not the one reading the speedo...Why would they remove that sensor if it reads the speedo......thats what i am thinking, and maybe somehow the one on the axle can effect the OD
