Default Things happen for a reason??!!???!!

I had my mutt in the truck with me today and we went to Speedway so that I could endulge myself with a cup of coffee, on the way home I decided to take a different route, I turned onto a side street and no sooner that I did that my dog decided he wanted to drive causing me to veer over and my mirror on the passenger side (which happens to be a fold out) played joust with the parked truck which was a chevy and my mirror took out the chevy mirror, so needless to say the guy that owns that truck didn't seem to concerned about it just asked that I get him a replacement used not a new one, I agreed he told me that there was a junkyard I could go to and they are pretty good on prices, but that one was way out of my way so I went to a somewhat local one and didn't find a mirror for either truck, but I did find some led clearance lights, the guy charged me $5, I did my best not to let him know that he was on crack but I let it be paid and moved on, so now I have my spring project, install my new lights, mind you they came off of a 2008 Dodge Ram, I was doing this in the parking lot. but I guess I am still going to pay for it as my mirror is $150

USAA caught my eye, then I forgot what the thread was about. something about cab lights and mirrors. I'm tired.

When I clicked the picture (before I read anything) I thought that was a handful of small cordless optical mice.

What junkyard did you go to? Besselers in Hebron is where I go. Just got a grille for the S-10, a plenum plate, and a bunch of bolts for $32. I love that place.

my spring projects are piling up, can't wait to put these lights on. these were not factory, they used silicone around the outside of the lens and the holes where drilled they didn't clean them off before they ran the wires through but heat shrink can take care of the damaged wires. I also got a rear view mirror that dims which shouldn't be a big deal to put on, i ripped out part of the wiring harness, just have to figure out where the 3 wires go that went to it, i'm sure there was a switchable hot and a ground but what would the 3rd wire be??

I you can wait till it warms up here in kentucky ill find out, Ive got the auto dimmer mirror. Also when you wire up the lights be sure to use a RELAY. You will burn out a switch. Be safe use a relay.
