TUrns out I dont have any trailer wire harness, so they guy at the truck store sold me a 4 pin harness with 4 wires, so I have to hard wire this bad boy on... DOES anyone out htere know what wires are for Left, and right brake, and also the Tail lights> It would save a TON of time... I cant find it anywhere online... thanks again!

HEY HEY there is not ONE webpage that list the colors for my vehicle, so i did it the hard way... THis should save someone some time.....

Behind the Tail lights in the TRUCK

Left Turn/Brake - Green
Right Turn/Brake - Green
AUX Lights - Black, with yellow stripe
Ground.... Duh the bumper

Harness
Left Turn - Yellow
Right Turn - Green
AUX - Brown
Ground - White

I'm also thinking that what you list as Green for the stop/turn wire, is actually dark green with a thin brown stripe.

No, but that file is right here on DF in the FAQ section.And it includes the 3.9. There are very few differences between 98 and 01. I guess you should have done more searching here, instead of on the WWW.

HOW THE HELL COULD 3 WIRES BE SO COMPLICATED... IM UPSET NOW... OK the trailer lights work ok, turn signals work ok, UNTIL you turn on the lights when the lights are on, and the turn signal is on... BOTH TRAILER LIGHTS BLINK, verry Dimly, however when the lights are off everything functions fine>>? Any HELP PLEASE>>? I NEED TO START FISHING SOON!
