It does increase gas milage.(from what ive heard) And improves so many things and takes away problems... I dont think there are any downsides. And imagin the looks of it under your hood with a 14x3 sitting on top. YUMMMY!!!
The downside is the damage it does to your wallet.

Well, It makes up for that quick in fuel costs. Plus its not such a big hit if youve been putting money back for it.

I want to get one soon as well but i am on the table about it because i dont want to get it and lose power and money.
So after you have tested it out a bit please let us know the gains of mpg and if you can feel the power difference

i will let you know. i am not concerned about mpg's, but if it gets better, thats alright too. i am looking for a performance improvement. if it comes this week i will try to get it installed this weekend. i read where it takes the computer a little bit to learn the new airgap. just like it did with the 1.7 hs rr's.

Just a thought... maybe you can document the amount of oil on your plenum plate before you do this. It seems like the big MPG increase that people are claiming is likely from fixing a blown plenum w/ this intake. It sounds like yours is not blown - so I'm curious to see what you results are. I'm on the fence about ordering one of these...

Thanks,
Cartman
