one thing it does is keep engine heat down. It raises the throttle body away from the block by using the 8 risers which allows cold air to circulate around the motor better

well the 1.7's are one of the few mods i would do again. they werent like a 50hp difference or anything, but there was a improvement for sure. probably around 15-20hp.

95ram5.9-i will try and get a pic for ya.there are a couple pics on here already, that someone else put up. and i see you are from southeast ohio. where at? i live about 20 miles south of zanesville.a little town called crooksville.here is the link to the airgap http://www.hughesengines.com/Index/p...p?partid=24773

part of the reason for getting the airgap was i am planning a cam upgrade soon. just cannt decide which one. like the krc 206 and krc 210x. there is alot less money involved with the 206. you can get away with just the cam and springs. but i am afraid i wont be satisfied with the performance. the 210x you need to get all kinds of stuff like lifters, springs, heads, rockers, torque converter, sct tuner(plan on getting the sct anyway though), gears. man thats alot of money to do the 210x. but the gains would be pretty awesome.

here is the cams..http://www.krcperformance.com/......click on engines the camshaft
