Aloha all,
I got two trucks 66 D200 and 94 Ram 1500 both 2wd. I live in Hawaii on the big island.

On my 1500 new rotors calipers pads bearings, and have a servier dragging front brake problem on both sides. Could a bad pour portioning valve cause this? There are two valve blocks. One directly below the master and one to the left to tords the engine which has the wire plug in it. Or could it been bad hoses or a combination? I can only get about two miles before the truck starts slowing down as the brakes get very hot. Rear brakes are cold to touch, front burn your finger.

Jason ? ok, sounds like you're having a caliper issue, try bleeding the brakes and if that doesnt work then you might have a bigger problem. Welcome to DF

bleed them no air. Thank you for your help.

Like I posted in my first,as you look from the bumper it's to the left and lower of the master the brake block as I will call it. The one that has 4 to 6 wire adapt plug on it is this a sort of anti lock valving block. Could this be causing the non release?

anti lock keeps them released, and prevents the lockup...is the abs light on?

From what has been described, it sounds to me like a proportion valve problem. The rears should have some heat to them. Can/did you verify the rears are working? It doesn't sound like an ABS problem on his model its only rear ABS.

may be able to take the calipers off, the sliders in the caliper are supposed to be greased, if they are not, it will hang up doing the symptoms... and so will mis aligned brake pads... take them apart, show us some pics, we cna tell you for sure if you need new parts... no use in spending money you dont hvae to
