Default fuse ?

i have a 99 1500 i just bought last week. i was checking the fuses and noticed there seems to be some missing can someone look in the manual and tell me what #21 is ? also there looks to be something missing above the turn signal flasher maybe a relay or something. i did not get a manual for this truck so im kinda lost here i have looked around online but can not come up with a fuse box diagram thanks

it should be written on the back of the panel cover thats where mine are listed and welcome to DF

Also, its pretty normal for vehicles to not have all fuse/relay slots full. They put the same fuse box in for each model, only some may have ABS, some may have an upgraded sound system, roof console, etc

21 is for power seats as he stated, and mine is the leather interior with power seats and has a 20 amp fuse in that location

+1 for Lb. On the plus side, some of those fuse points can be used for your own upgrades later on. My power seats point is powering my CB.

damn i'm dumb. for some reason i thought if the fuses were empty the slot didn't work at all. i've got my cb connected to the turn signal fuse so whenever i turn the signals on i can here it coming from the cb.

When I have installed CB's, I have always ran a fused power wire directly from the battery because I always had interferance plugging it into fuses that have a "job to do". Never thought of running it to a non-used fuse slot...hmmm

ya know that is a great idea. I never thought about that. Save on the wiring for sure. But wouldn't you get a lot of interference from the engine and accessories?
