Radiator reservoir has a leak at the neck, I am planning on getting a new reservoir, What type of fluid do I need to use. I was told that the old type of green anti-freeze was not compatible with these motors, ram 1500 4.7? … Help

Ethylene Glycol is what nearly every vehicle on this planet uses.

I thought about buying one off ebay but I heard some horror stories on another forum and would rather buy one locally if a problem would arise.

i dont know if you have one around you, but 1-800-Radiator is who i used when i did the radiator in my 4x4 Nissan (I know its not a ram) but that was 108 bucks.

And the parts for 318-360 are 90% interchangable...

318 and 360 are the same. My truck originally had the towing package, the radiator had a fin type trans cooler in it. I could not find one like it, I put a rad off a 318 on it. It had a tube type trans cooler in it. I had to extend my trans cooler return line a bit, but everything else bolted up and it works great.

the difference between them is 318 is internally balanced, 360 is external, and then, obvious the 360 is a bigger CI motor, other than that they are about the same.
