the quietness is what still makes me think clogged cat too.....

 

i tapped on the cat earlier with a hammer and could hear stuff rattling loose in there.

 

Hey Fellas; I've been there with this problem. My first CAT was bad due to a blown plenum. It wouldn't do over 15 mph. I replaced it, and the second lasted 1 year. Since then I did the Plenum fix and removed the CAT completely. That Cherry Bomb Muffler is sounding better every day. Jegs has a off-road use CAT-less Y-Pipe that makes for a very free-flowing Exhaust.
