dana front axle??? (pics)
Yup, all Dodge Ram 1500s have Dana 44s up front and Chrysler Corporate 9.25s in the rear.
2500s are Dana 60s always in front (unless you have a "Light Duty" version from the 1994 or 1995 model years), Dana 60 in the rear if you have the V8, Dana 70 in the rear if you have the diesel Or V10 and auto tranny, and Dana 80 if you have the diesel with a manual tranny.

i think mine was used for light plowing, there was some surface rust under it but not much at all. and my truck is 6 years newer than yours so that may have something to do with it.
not to mention that mine just broke 100K a little under a year ago..its done alot of sitting outside
betcha yours aint sitting at 101K..then again i cant talk to much smack cause mine needs alot of work now
