i powerwashed and undercoated with rustoleum spray bedliner last summer, it looks great

that explains alot..but on a RCLB that has done alot of sitting and used to be a plow truck

surface rust is EVERYWHERE

i think mine was used for light plowing, there was some surface rust under it but not much at all. and my truck is 6 years newer than yours so that may have something to do with it.

not to mention that mine just broke 100K a little under a year ago..its done alot of sitting outside

betcha yours aint sitting at 101K..then again i cant talk to much smack cause mine needs alot of work now
