Cool! Does that mean that when it goes, the plenum fairy will come while I'm sleeping and fix it...eventually?

Sorry..j/k, couldn't help myself.

Seriously though, I'm also interested in feedback on various programmers and now I'm subscribed.

plenum* Just so he search comes up with stuff

The rough idle could a number of things, best to do a search on that as well. Rough idle though could come from a plenum blown, but it wouldnt really get better as the engine warms up. Vac leak is a vac leak.

Sounds like you plan on putting money into this truck, if money is less of an object I would suggest not dealing with the stock intake and the plenum problems get the airgap and you dont have to worry about plenum.

Search Hemifever and get in contact with him about the SCT he can get you the best deal and he knows what he is doing I'm not sure on his email but someone will chime in with it.

Definantly do gears depending on what size you go with you wont have to be as picky with a cam and trying to keep the torque

All this will kill the tranny, so make sure you get a quality built tranny
PATC is a place I have heard nothing but good things about and most likely were I will send my money when the time comes

well, since you are a mustang guy, after about a month on this forum you will be a pro.

Just sit back and read some posts for 30 days. you will have a good idea on what to do.

the 5.2 is a great engine. My 1996 5.2 was greay...but the tranny was not. think of it as the NON world class T-5 on the mustang 5.0s.
