I got the Monroe Gas-Magnum shocks. They are half way between the softer Sensatrac and the stiffer Reflex shocks.
There are also Bilsteins, which I've heard great things about, but they are also a tad expensive. Same with Ranchos.
If you're looking for a softer ride, Sensatracs may be what I'd recommend.

I just bought a set of Rancho 5000s from Summit Racing. They were less than $50 each and had free shipping and a $50 rebate. The Rancho 9000s have a $100 rebate.
I installed them this weekend and the ride is good but maybe a little stiff. Cornering is tight. I haven't been off road with them yet.
My old ones were or the originals with 174K miles on them. They where made in Brazil by Cofap and had the Chrysler emblem on them.

I have the Rancho RS9000 adjustable shocks, I have never been able to really play with the adjust stuff though cuz my front passanger side **** is at a point that I can't get to, I also have the set up for dual front shocks and need to buy all new shocks to get that done.
The 9000's seem a bit stiff but I like them, they dont rattle my kidneys like the crap shocks I have on my jeep.
