OK I finally talked the new wife into taking my '04 Patriot Blue Reg. Cab 4.7L 4x4 ST and letting me get a "new" truck.

And the winner is... '01 White Quad Cab 5.9L V8 4x4 SLT Sport Offroad package with auto tranny, leather interior, all the options, 4:10 rear with anti-spin, and Flowmaster exhuast although I'm gonna have it redirected to exit behind the rear wheels instead of straight out the back.

It has 96K miles on it but my mechanic says it's the best looking (mechanically speaking) Dodge he's seen with over 70k miles on it. Hell you can just look inside and see this thing was well maintained... there isn't even a crack in the leather or a stain on the carpet!!!

Cool just curious why did you want to go from a 04 to a 01? I personally like the 2nd gens best but not sure if I would have bought a new truck to get the look. Congrats though post pics up. Why are you going to redirect the exhaust do you not like it coming straight out the back or is there some advantage to having it come out behind the wheels. It comes out each side behind the wheels on mine and while I like it a lot I have to say I like the straight out the back look about as much unless it has too small of a pipe or rolled tips I don't like either one of those.

The '01 has the solid front axle and this truck has a lot more options than my '04. As far as the exhaust is concerned, straight out the back decreases departure angle for offroading where as out the side does not. Plus I like the look better. oh and here is a first pic. I will get 360s and interiors up soon:
