Man the **** never stops coming, was picking up a couch my wife got for free. Bout an hour from the house and i kept hearing a stumping/roaring sound im like "**** i just blew another wheelbearing.

Stuck my head out the window and looked down and BAM my freakin driverside tire is negitive like a sob, so ofcourse i pulled over and got out and come to find out my lug nuts are freaking finger tight and about to fall off. WHAT THE HELL! some one apartently loosend my lug nuts. So i got out jacked the truck up and tightend them down, well go about a mile down the road and it did it again... Guess what the lugs are freaking ate to **** and i barely have any thread left for the nuts to bite on.

So i guess im going to be replacing the driverside sooner than i'd like because im not going to waste my time putting new lugs on when i need to replace the hub anyways.

AND!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

to top it off my fuel pump is shot, i cant barely reach 60 if im below a half a tank, free way is basicly out of the question and you damn near have to get on the freeway here to go anywhere.

So im going to the junkyard whenever the hell i find the money to get the pump and the hub is just going to have to wait at this point in my life i couldn give two ****s if the tire falls off or not, i'll just keep tightening it everyday IF it keeps coming loose.


Sorry for the book but i need to vent, does any one else think this country is ****ed up beyond all repair ? the economy is done... im moving to ****ing canada.

 

did you retorque the nuts after doing some driving when you put them on last?? alloy wheels have a tendancy to cause the lug nuts to loosen up after some miles are put on them....they always warn me at the local tire shop to retorque them...cant remember at how many miles though... I doubt someone loosened them...
btw tire pressure is also effected by alloy wheels in extreme cold weather due to expansion and contraction...you may already know all this but just mentioning it for others who may not...

 

The main reason why i think some one loosend them is because i actually checked them yesterday when i washed the rims, and im POSITIVE i tightend them because i had a buddy over and he asked me why i was checking them.

i was actually thinking about that either the blue **** or some plumbers tape and just wrap the **** out of it and just put some *** behind it and tighten the damn thing down as tight as i can get it.

 

someone might of been in the middle of trying to steal em? if you could belive that? j/k,... I would just get some lug nuts and new studs from the parts place when you can. It would be safer just make sure it's just you in the truck for the time being, just saying if it were me

 

Yea its just gonna be me in it anyways for awhile, i told my wife there is so much small **** happening with it i dont want her to be with me if i wreck it or if i break down then atleast i can call her and have her bring her truck so i can get the **** i need to fix it.

Cause i almost didnt get home tonight i had to have a buddy bring me a lug wrench cause mine was left at the house on the garage floor. "yes flame on" And my wife was with me so we were kinda screwed

 

Its funny you say you left the wrench, because im always worried about leaving my 4 way behind and , sometimes i forget it ,also when i notice i do , i get pissed at my self, so i make sure its in the truck along with a big *** bottle jack . Also i took my locking lug nuts off and put reg ones on , because sometimes i lose that stupid friggen key thing for em and dont want to be in BFE and SOL
