Default Frame. 1500 v 2500

Are the frames on the 1500 and 2500 the same? I though they where only taller not wider.

If there wider as well that just messed up the idea I had brewing.

i dont think they are wider or longer i think they are just beefier.

I still say putting that plow on there is a bad idea.

if it was a 5foot it wouldnt be a problem, hell a freakin jeep can haul one of those.

But if it came off of a 2500 man it's going to be way too much for the 1500 to handle on a day to day basic in the winter.

A 7 1/2' blade is fine for a half ton. But, you will still go through a set of wheel bearings and ball joints nearly every year if the plow is on there all the time during the winter... just too much weight cantilevered off the front for those puny components.

As far as frame differences between the half ton and 3/4 tons, I believe they are just two inches taller.
