like I said, clean it, put it back. THEN if it still doesn't work, replace it.

You dont get that kind of build up after only 100 miles of driving. Either they screwed something up on the build, or those are used solenoids.

sorry it took so long to get back to this... but except for cleaning the sensor and soleniod, i went through my dad's friend and was able to get both sensor and soleniod for $110.

picked a new filter and gasket

and some more fuild because i might as well change it while im in there.

and all back together no problem... and imagine this, it shifts... like it never shifted before

oh ANNNNDDDDD, about a week after i changed everything.. i was driving and the over drive turned off and about 10 seconds later the trans temp light came on.... turned down a side road let it sit for about 2 hours, drove it back home.... jumped on dodgeforum and used the SEARCH FEATURE like not a lot of people like using ... and turned out the trans check valve was stuck, so with some brass fittings.... no more check valve and has had no more problems since...

used a temperture gun and pointed it all the trans pan after driving it for at 30 minutes none stop and read 154* F. this is at 72*f outside. sound good for a good temperture? or should i throw a external b&m cooler on it anyways?

Glad everything worked out for you...And THANK YOU for using the search feature. Most people would just start a new thread. My hat off to you for that!
