Default Took the truck to the drag strip(1/8th) VID

Took the ram to the strip, it was friday night lights out. An event where they turn off the times and the tree and do a hand drop. I had fun! First race was indeed a cummins ram.
Im definatly going to take her down the strip more. So expect some more vids in the future.

Second one looked like a 5.0 LX. Those LXs are sleeper looking. No ground fx.

Im sure you had fun and its much better to race on a dragstrip instead of the street but,,,,

Why not go on a test & tune day instead?
That way your still racing heads up against the other vehicle but you get to see exactly how good your reaction time was as well as the 60', 330' & 660' times. You have no way of knowing what worked & what hurt your ets without the timing system.

Loading the tc to certain rpms will cause different results, rolling the throttle or just nailing it as well, manually shifting (even if auto) will give different results as well depending on your shift rpms.

Next time go to a T&T and see what she runs

Exactly! You get some data while having fun....

That's what I did. Not all that impressive, but it serves as a base line.

Well, as far as i know the only thing that is done to my truck is exhaust and the tranny check valve delete. I did the check valve delete, and the ehxaust. I cut off the muffler and put a peice of pipe where it used to be and got it welded. Only other thing i know that has been done is a 180' T stat. Thats all i know. The 180 deg t stat was in there when i bought the truck. The prev owner probly did more than that is my guess cause i dont have blown plenum or clogged cat. So maybe i have the hughs plenum kit? The truck has 167,000 miles on it...

Oh i plan on it, this friday theres another event thats for trucks, suv's and imports. funny how they mixed the imports in there huh? lol Makes since sorta..If you know what i mean.
When i raced i just put it in drive and turned OD off then just punch it. The first time i didnt PUNCH it right at the hand drop(cummins race) I kind of rolled into it perty fast. But the second race against the mustang i just punched it and she spent em perty bad... The next time ill have times and everything!
