Dave. I assume you are going to be rebuilding this transmission soon. What do you plan on doing with the truck. Mudding? towing? around town driving? in other words what type of service will this truck see?

I removed the plugs on the test ports but the hole is WAY to small, It says in the install manual not to use a t-fitting. I looked for a DIY on installing a gauge like this but no luck.

With that type of gauge they probably want you to install it in the transmission pan.

Also if you plan on upgrading the intermediate apply lever 4.2 will do just fine. Put a deep pan on it (dont forget the filter adapter), big cooler with fan if possible. Talk with precision about their RV converters with the billet back.

Those three numbers i gave you make up one master kit.
The master kit you are looking at (22006E) has stock "tan" borg warner frictions. Ordering them separately, i recommended the alto red eagle friction kit. Since wit does not have a listing for a master kit with "reds". The "reds" have a higher holding capacity than the "tans".
