My 94009 doesn't throw any codes. Been using it almost two years now.

I believe Aims4Squirrels recommended a HD unit once if you run ethanol "enriched" fuel, or something along those lines, as ethanol will hurt your cat over time. Don't quote me on that, Aims can clear it up for sure, but IIRC, thats the story.

Don't but it online. Buy it from a official partner of Magnaflow. If the 94000 throws codes, you won't be getting any help from Amazon.com

Meineke was able to get mine locally. However, if I had known at the time how easy it was to order a new converter, I would have ordered it from SummitRacing.com and gave it to them to put on. Even after shipping, IIRC, its less than $100.

Doesn't that pretty much mean everyone? I think (not positive though) that at least around here all the pumps are selling that 10% stuff at least in the winter. Oh yeah I presume by "HD" you are comparing the heavy metal cats to the ceramic ones? That is certainly noteworthy info to me if true since I have just been scouring the magnaflow catalogs myself trying to decide which cat for me.

Curious. Just wondering what your thinking is behind not choosing a cat with the o2 bungs in there. The added bungs don't seem to add much cost...what other reasons are there to leave it off?
