Food for thought since I saw some people were asking about remote turbo set up and these guys were the one's that started doing them a long time ago. They go into detail explaining why remote turbos are better then installing them in the engine bay and of course, since they're turbo people, they also knock on superchargers. Good reading, I learned a good bit and might even do this setup sometime much later down the road after the truck gets a major overhaulin.

forget about the remote turbo. Those are mainly for vehicles that don't have my room in the engine bay. I used to be an F-Body guru, and I did a lot of work helping a buddy with his STS in his 4th gen camaro. There IS more lag time, and there IS more cost involved, since you have to mount it so far away. You'll be better off piecing the kit together by yourself!

Yeah im piecing this together myself, any recommendations on where to to into an oil feed line at, preferably as close as possible to being right off of the filter, also i wanna go for remote to eliminate teh need for an intercooler, as the exhaust should be cooled enough by then, so cost wise running a remote actually works out a bit cheeper,

Any questions you have should be answered just by reading the sts site. There should be an adapter you could buy that attaches to where your oil filter screws on and it'll give you a port for your oil lines.

Do you go offroading in this truck? Remote turbos are not a good choice for offroad IMHO.
Kick up a big rock or bottom the back end out on something hard & could damage the turbo body, sending the impellar pieces into the motor.
Damage the oil line, could seize the turbo or worse.
