my disappointment
Hahaha...can't forget stickers, they add at least 100hp and 20mpg. Its a cool truck man, I'd just be happy with that if I was you, I had to drive a rusted out POS VW Jetta in highschool. I never cared though, it was wheels. To me in highschool my car was my freedom, if I ever crashed or wreaked it, there went my freedom. I know your young dumb and full of *** and think your invincible, just think about what your doing and leave the racing to the track. If you do want to race for REAL go to a track and race some guys there. Just be happy you have a cool truck, not everyone your age does.

btw did you see the age poll they did here? there are more highschool age kids here (or close to it) in the 2nd gen than any other forum I belong to. They are a popular hand me down truck for a kid on a farm...(I'm not saying thats bad in any way, its good if anything)

There was a track ready 454 chevy at my HS and its was fast but the grand national and a couple of ricers would have made it look silly on the track.
YOu can't get a decent GN with less than 20K miles for less than 25 grand nowadays. I would trade my truck and harley for a stock GN with less than 20K in a heartbeat.
anyone with a GN automatically has the best car in HS. They are the only car made in 1987 that increases in value as it gets older.

yea, i bought my rig in highschool (in college now...) and i live on a farm...
....but the difference (probably from living on a farm) i actually know how to work on my truck (it's been to a shop only once in the 3.25 years and approx 33,000 miles i've owned it....and that's only b/c i was in a serious time crunch with work and didn't have time to do the axle seals and balljoints myself...otherwise i'd have torn it down and done it...for free + parts)
