Default Mirrors

I was just curious if the 98+ mirrors will fit on the 97 and previous model trucks to replace the big chrome elephant ears. I am sure it will mount up, but what about the wiring for power mirrors? Is it the same white/yellow/blue wires, I know the 98+ power mirrors come with the heated feature, but I don't need that. Any experiences/ advice is much appreciated.

i need a chrome drivers power mirror..eventually i think the "elephant ears" as you put it look good..but id love to have some huge tow mirrors

but i do think the standard 98-01 black oval style mirror would look good..and i do believe that all the second gens are straight swap

That's good to hear, I just want to make sure the power heat feature doesn't make them have a different connector.
