Default Quick Dual Exhaust Question

Hey all,

I know there is always an exhaust thread, but I just want to double check what size of pipe I should use for dual exhaust...2 1/2" or 2 1/4"? Im looking for a nice deep tone when I get on it and start it up/idle. Pipes will be coming out of the back corners. Super 44 muffler and magnaflow high flow cat. I dont tow much of anything either...just looking for sound, performance, and maybe squeeze some mpg's out of it.

Thanks guys

Personal preference when it comes to pipe size, but dont go any bigger than 2 1/2 and I would suggest the 2 1/2 because thats what I have and I like, the 2 1/4 is cheaper to run and on a pretty much stock truck you wont notice much of a difference

2 and 1/4" would give you a bit more down low, so unless you have major upgrade plans for the truck later on, I'd do that. If you have major plans for later, do the 2 and 1/2".
