Ok here's the scoop, I came home from work last night and noticed my headlights were staying on even though the switch was turned off. i notice that the "brights" indicator on my cluster is also on. The door chime does not ding to let me know they are on though. Was wondering where i should start looking, would it be my daytime running light switch or the actual headlight switch? thanks,
Jake
Remove the steering column covers and check the wires, especially if you have a tilt wheel. Other than that,I'd say the multi function switch or headlight switch is bad. I'd go with the headlight switch first, but it's hard to say.
i see you're in canada where you have daytime running lights.
it might be that module. its around drivers side, firewall/fender area, black box thingy. try unplugging it and see if it fixes the problem.
thanks for the help, it was the DT running light modual. i unplugged it and the lights shut off however i had no brights at night so i went to mopar and got a new one and replaced it. Everything works normally now.
