Default Air gap install

Well finished up my hughes engines manifold install. After finally getting a manifold that wasn't defective. Truck runs alot better. Driveability improved. Getting 15mpgs on 35s with 4.10s. Pcs up shortly. Didn't use any of the chincy brackets they sent nor the garbage brass fittings. Also if anyone is interested I have a trango shift kit upforsale. Nver used brand new. My suncoast trans is on the ay so no need for it. 140 obo.

Good to hear about the intake. What is different about the transgo that you are asking $140? The most expensive transgo on summit is $116. http://www.summitracing.com/search/T...k%7cAsc&page=1

Cool Intake manifold

What was wrong with the manifold they sent to you. I just received mine yesterday. Just curious what to look for.

Thanks Mark

Casting defect on the underside of the intake runners, literally and inch long hole. It's in my other thread. My old kegger will be forsale, its off an arizona truck so no corrosion. Only has 40k miles.

Rust and corrosion are two different chemical reactions.

i like my airgap too. nice little performance boost. plus the airgap is gonna help tie my heads and cam all together.(when i get them). i didnt see any improvement in gas mileage. your plenum must have been bad to see a improvement in mileage. my plenum was still good.
