Default Leather Seats

Does anyone know where to find some decently priced leather seats for a 2001 Dodge Ram 1500 Ext Cab?

i am getting to wrap my headliner with black suede so I was hoping to find some black leather seats possibly with dk. granite inserts.

if not, what other vehicles can have a direct bolt on to this truck? thanks in advance.

I have heard somewhere that the gen 3 seats bolt in with little to no modification. Maybe someone will chime in.

yeah, i have been lookin on ebay and sites similar to that. i just hate waiting especially if i do the headliner this weekend then i'll be driving around with that horrible pixel of colors on my seats.

oh well, any word on if the carpet panels on the door come out? i'm trying to figure out how to wrap that as well. and that would be sweet if the 3rd gen bolts straight in.

3rd gen seats require fab work to install in 2nd gen trucks. If you're buddies with a welder or are a welder yourself, than it's easy. If not, don't attempt.

Why not have your current seats reuphosltered?

I found these a while back while searching, ofcourse you can tell them which colors you would like. I think black with gray inserts would look real nice. http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/DODGE...Q5fAccessories

I don't know of the quality, but it is super easy to reupholster your seats, the factory fabric is a breeze to take off. I am thinking about taking a stab at those eventually.

As far the carpet on the door panels, they do come off, but you have to use a soldering iron to melt the plastic rivets, and then once you pull the carpet off you will have some staple holes. I know Dakotas Ram did it, hopefully he will chime in on this one.

appreciate it ram sport. i checked out your link and am looking on the igee website. yeah hopefully dakota will jump in too. yeah i noticed the plastic rivets on the back of the door panel where the carpet is. so basically break those rivets, reupholster and then melt the plastic again? doesn't sound too difficult.

also, i'm thinking black seats with a dark gray will look sharp. since i was doing black suede headliner, i couldn't do a solid gray with black inserts. thanks again
