Hey guys first thread. I have a 98 ram 2500 5.9 360 long box 2x4 i bought a year ago the guy said the tranny was rebuilt 35,000 ago havent had any luck with it. Right now if i floor it it will redline its like it gets loss in between gears and rough/high rpm shifts. sorry if there is a thread about this already.

Thanks man I will be getting that looks pretty easy I'm not much of a tranny guy I think I should beable to figure it out. I got a question for you I have I vacuum port on the drivers side on my intake manifold and It has a screw shoved in it right now any idea. Thanks agin

Assuming you have the same set up as post #61, where do you have a screw in the vac hose.

Yes thats it but on the drivers side. It just as a short 1" line that is pluged with a screw. Should i just put a reguler vac port plug or should it go some where.

On the drivers side there 2 ports. one on top of the other. One is for the brake booster and the other is plugged. It doesn't matter which one is use and which one is plugged. I think the previous owner couldn't find a legit plug, so he jerry rigged it.
