The one on my right size is the crank case breather, the one on the left side is my PCV valve, the one on the right it's just a kinda a mini air filter. Mine is just free flowing i dont have it hooked to my aircleaner at all.

I have another stupid question that I could have probably searched for, but since I have this thread going, I may as well ask here. Don't forget I am pretty new to working on motors in general, so plz have mercy on me.

The tube that goes from the left valve cover to the port on my CAI... ( I think is oil return or something), and on yakkiers engine (right side), looks to be replaced with a breather. The 14x3 I bought does not have that port on it, so how does that breather connect?? Do I have to replace the whole plug that goes into the valve cover, or do I just stick a breather on the end of the tube and zip-tie it somewhere??
There is a breather you can get at any parts store that just pops into the grommet on the valve cover, something like this:

great. So that breather replaces the whole tube then, right onto the plug/ grommet that goes into the valve cover. TY for the info. Hope to have my 14x3 installed tomorrow, and will see if I can notice too much of a difference, to not like it.

And yes, plenum fix is most definitely at the top of ma priority list. Just need the cash for it. Soon, very soon.

Helped a buddy with the plenum fix on his 5.9, and it was most definitely a different truck afterward. It still wouldn't smoke his mud tires, but it didn't hesitate or bog on the interstate ramps anymore. And from a stop, when he pegged it, it just went...no BSing around, like it did, before the fix.

same here, I gotta get mine done soon as I have some extra cash ... I gotta shell out close to 300 bucks to licence both the truck and myself.... truck ran out end of march and my driver's licence expired on my birthday, the 11th... all for a couple damn pieces of paper and stickers

DL here is 80 bucks I think, and registration renewal is based on GVW, for this truck last year it was close to 160 and it went up since then I've heard

wow, that's pretty outrageous. I just looked at it, and my Class B license to drive a straight truck w/ air brakes was only 55$. A regular class O license was even cheaper. 25$ or so if I remember right, in Nebraska.

Althought my registration renewal wasn't too far from what u paid
