Default engine studer in high gear

this is the deal, when im driving on the highway, crusing at 60mph and i want to pass, so i give a little more trottle and i get a studder. also when i start going up a hill it will studder untill it down shifts then it stops. it does not studder in higher rpm range, like if i take it out of overdrive its fine?

this is another thread i have but, first thing in the morning my truck starts right up, but after its warmed up i have to turn the key twice to start?

the OD shuddering sounds like a transmission problem. try posting it in monte's transmission thread.

if the no start is cured by wiggling the shifter around, it might be cured by replacing neutral safety switch. otherwise, i'd spray a little wd40 in the ignition slot.

no its not a transmition problem. its like a cylinder misfire. can a coil act up, or is either good or bad.

Pulling them and looking might not be a bad plan.

When is the last time ya did a tune-up?

If its a cylinder misfire, you should be getting a misfire code, and/or a CEL (may even blink rapidly during misfire itself).

+1 for HeyYou's suggestion, when did you last do a tune up?
