I bought the hornblasters shocker s4 kit and that thing is bad a$$. I love nailing the golfers as you drive by the golf course. These are the next best thing to a true airchime off a locomotive.

I'll second the Hornblasters - they are an excellent company to deal with, and I recommend them to anyone wanting to setup train horns. I have the Shocker XL kit on my truck - and they are LOUD! They have a deeper tone than "true" train horns (Leslie, Nathan, etc), but are nonetheless very impressive. If you have the cash to dump into Leslie's or Nathan's, by all means go for it. BTW, The videos you see of them online do not do them justice.

i got the kit off ebay for $114 shipped, its all made in italy too not chinese junk, dual compressors, full metal chrome plated horns, theyre really nice

and its awesome scarring people, i was in AC last night and this morning doing it, it was great but i havent gotten any sleep. won $800 on blackjack though

im almost 100% positive that ferrys are louder. They have to be. Think about it.
