Default how much should i hall? asap

Hey, I've been doin a lot of landscape work, and I've been hauling mulch and sand/dirt. I got to pick up some lava rock. I calculated around 25 bags of the lava rock pebbles. They are like 45-50lbs a bag. Would it be ok to haul that many? Truck sagged with 15 bags of mulch.... 01 ram 1500 5.2 gotta go about 40 miles. Don't really want to make 2 trips,

25 bags times 50lbs/bag = 1250lbs. Can your rear springs/shocks and brakes handle that?

I went to get some pea gravel. They said that they would only put 2/3 of a yard in there, 1800 lbs. The driver accidentally put a full yard in there, 2700 lbs. There was some suspension travel left, but not much! Would I recommend this? No. One good thing that came of it is my truck doesn't sag on the driver's side anymore.

you can haul 1250 easy. stopping will be difficult, so go slow and plan ahead.

+1 on checking tires, Make sure the air pressure is ok on the tires, and kept it slow and steady

Last year a few times I had to haul 5 square of shingles which is about 1350 pounds. I just took it nice and slow and left plenty of room for stopping.
