passenger fog light
surely somone knows how to disconnect that gray piece. i would like to disconnect it so i can check that female end with a DVM. if im good at that end, i know i have a smaller end to work with and i can probably narrow it down to the splice
You should just have to press down on the little tab, and the connectors should separate. The part that has the little slot under it? (that is where the lock would normally go, but, isn't there on yours.... ) Might have to push them together some, the press the tab, then pull apart. Sometimes, they hang on like no tomorrow......
great...well thanks for the input. ill give it a try tomorrow morning. do i have to cut the fog lights on with this part disconnected to shove the DVM in the respective ends
About that water problem You can look on the bottom of the light, There should be a gray plug on it just take it out and get out of the way of the horrible water that will come out. Now take that gray cap and toss it. Any water that goes in the hole there will just go right back out. Got to love gravity.
Probably..... At least, having them supposedly 'on' would be your best bet. Dodge is notorious for having switches provide ground for an always powered circuit, but, then they toss in relays just to add interest to life. They must own stock in a relay company......
