Default OTM competitions....

Some of you have expressed interest in having another OTM system like what I used to do. Now is the time to discuss what you want in the way of an OTM. I have a rule system that Pyro and I devised and that will remain pretty well the same with the possibility of additions addressed by Jason and myself.

I have attached a poll, so vote if you want to have an OTM and express your thoughts, concerns, and ideas here. Please for the sake of human consumption, if you want to tell me how much of an *** I am, send me a PM instead.

You are such an ***....oh wait, ill PM you about that later.

I think you should post the rule system you and Pryo have so that everyone knows kinda what the starting point is. Then open it up for discussion.
Personally, I likle the OTM, as long as it is kept simple. It gets diluted when we try to have too many different OTM's. Each month, just one competetion.

I agree, just make it one 2nd gen truck of the month contest.

Some other rules pertaining to those planning on nominating people
1. Your nominee must be an active member whose join date is at 30 days or higher, and they must have a post count of at least 50.
2. You may make one nomination per round of voting. If your nominee decides to back out, you may make another nomination.
3. Each round of voting will last one week or seven (7) days.
4. There will be 7 Rams in each vote. I will take the first seven nominees that accept their nomination. There wont be a time limit on when you can accept, but keep in mind, I will take the first seven people that accept.
5. You may not nominate yourself, or beg others for a nom.

Reminders to nominees
1. Accepted nominees are not allowed to “advertise” their rams what so ever during competitions.
2. Once you accept your nom, PM me with a picture that you would like to have used in the poll, and a list of mods that you would like listed.
3. If you are caught “advertising” your ram in any other part of the forum, you will be removed.

Remember, this is my OTW. I made the rules, and I will be the one that has the final say in what ram falls into what category. While I may not have the powers at my side to fully control this; there will be active moderators and or administrators keeping a close eye on this. At the first sign of any foul play, bickering, harsh words, outrageous claims, or any other kind of “douchebaggery”, I will be in contact with the mods/admins, and the whole contest will be pulled down and disregarded forever.

Let the nominations begin, and remember, regardless of who wins; this is just merely a game. Let's have fun with this, and keep it civil.
Once I have 7 accepted rams in the running, I will create the poll a separate thread.

Cast your noms here.

Just as little note, if any member thinks they have a legit improvement comment to make, do not hesitate. I'm all for making this run smoother.
I might also add that Silver is included in this as well. Didn't mean to leave ya out man.

I vote is for yes but under conditions. I'd like to see it up an running every month but i dont want to have to vote for the same trucks every month and that's the main issue is, there not enough of us that actually post pic's and stats about our trucks.

Depending on how many selections we will have on the poll i only see this lasting a few months with the ammount of members we have now.

7 nominees is way too many in my opinon, escpecially if it is 2nd gen section only. It would be the same nominees every month practically (and RMIndy will win every month because his ride is just too bad a).

On the largest (Dodge) forums on the internet in the section that has THE most posts per day in the forum, I respectfully disagree with the statement in purpl bold (hehehe).

Yes, now can we get POTM (Piece Of The Month) like VWandDodge suggested? Or do I have to take that into my own hands?

Thats a hallow statement nate, the post count means nothing when the same 15 members are the ones posting every week. And all the new members that come on ask questions then leave, more than half of threads on here arent made my everyday members they'er made by people using google looking up issues with their trucks, come on post wait for a reply and never seen or heard from again when they fix the problem.
