The guy you should be asking is the guy that rebuilt it. Since you said you had it done I'm assuming you didn't do the rebuild.

The guy who rebuilt it might say the break in period is the same length as the warranty period. Get it?

True, but he may not honor the warranty if he goes out and flogs it right away and breaks something. Know what I mean?

He has to, there would be no way for him to prove it wasnt a defect in the transmission.

Unless he recommends a break in period and somehow finds out that it was not followed, at that point the warranty would likely be void.

People lie, Transmissions dont. I can usually tell what caused a failure during a tear down, and general inspection of the vehicle.

I can tell the difference between abuse, part failure and builder error. Most good rebuilders can.

To further define, when i say "drive it like you stole it" its a figure of speech. I dont intend for the customer to go out and do neutral drops or tow more more than should be for the vehicle.
