Trans Rebuild Break-in
I just had the trans. rebuilt on my '01 1500 (240,000 miles, first major repair). Is there any kind of a break-in period for a rebuilt trans.?
Thanks

+1. Just don't tow more than the truck is rated for, that's just asking for trouble.

When I had my transmission rebuilt, I was told to just drive it.
"Drive it like I stole it?"
"Sure."

towed the boat the day after the rebuild. Run it, like someone said, if its gonna break, do it under warranty.

Drove from Eastern Kansas to LA with a 8'x8' trailer and 2 4-wheelers. 1500 miles 2 days after a rebuild.
