Hey spruiett you said that you made the tow vehicle because dodge would only sell you the other t-rex for 150k but what about the offroad one, is that an actual dodge t-rex or did u make that one too?

They are both home-built. T-Rex has rockwell axles....... watch some of the videos, that thing is awesome. Would love to do that, but, my gas mileage is already in the toilet.

It is fun putting all the other off-road rigs to shame. The best was that we showed up at a rock event agains all these high tech rock buggies. They were laughing at us behind our back, and to our face, saying that our huge rig was going to hang up on the rocks and basically suck. Well, we took first place with our "Huge" truck. That shut them up..

It does have its weakness, turning radius and manuverability, but it can go through pretty much anything.

So when are you upgrading to rear-steer axles, to get back that maneuverability?

Yes we built it but we we sponsored by Dodge, Interco, Detroit, KC, etc... So they all pitched in. Dodge paid for the body work and paint.

It has been in the plans, but we are thinking about making a smaller more nimble T-Rex Jr. out of a Dakota.

Dual rear axles on a dakota???? Is there enough room back there for that kind of behavior?

According to our designs we would only run 37 -28" tires ans we would have a negative departure angle. How cool would that be.
