Those just have a thin foam filter on them.... they are more about airflow, than cleaning the air. If you take your truck off-road, that thing is going to be woefully inadequate. Your engine is going to ingest all sorts of things it shouldn't.......

Sure, it may look cool, but, for a truck, it is the wrong part.

Why do you have M/T tires then? Thats retarded.
Yeah, but a good 14x3 is $20 more and with a paper filter it will stop much more dirt than that foam. Plus the 14x3 looks much cooler than a foam triangle.

i have M/T and I dont go off roading either. Theyre great for snow/mud/rain, and they look amazing.

+1 with purple. IndyRamMan had that filter, said his engine was much dirtier than when he ran a paper filter. Even if you went with a K&N oil filter on the 14x3 youll be stopping alot more dirt.

Make the bolt yourself, theres plenty of instructions on here about it. Really not hard.

You will have to make the bolt

From rm-indy

I think it would be: K&N 14x2.5 part #E-3735
K&N 14x3 part #E-3737 or #E-3027R
Someone else might have a better idea of the exact number

You had a plus for the Max award comment then lost it with this. Didn't we have this argument already?
