check the small wires going to the alternator. one or more should have 12v on it to activate the field wiinding or something? see if you have a loose or broken wire.

edit - also check all your fuses in the PDC and the end of dash, especially those big ones.

you did disconnect your battery when doing your work - right ?

Maybe the voltage regulator in the PCM took a dump.
xray99 had problems with his voltage regulator and bypassed it and got it to work, so that would be worth testing.
You need to go over the connectors with contact cleaner and check all the fuses first though.
When the voltage regulator is messed up then the alternator won't charge the battery.

i read trough that and i almost positive it has to be my pcm i have nothing else it could be cause the alternator is producing volts its just not getting to the battery so I'm going to try a used computer at a local junk yard and see if it does the trick if not it going to be heading to a dealership and they can figure it out

If your alternator is putting out more than battery voltage, (should see between 13 and 15 volts right at the alternator) the alternator, and voltage regulator are fine. The alternator feeds power back to the battery via the HUGE fuse in the power distribution block, one would think, if that fuse were blown, NOTHING would work..... so, trace the feed wire from the alt, and work your way back to the battery, and see where you lose power at, and then fix the open circuit.
