Default Engine Failure

I was on the Freeway and then all in a sudden my oil pressure dropped to zero. Before I could have reacted, I loss engine power and then she started to knock. I pulled the engine out to evaluate the situation and discovered that the oil pump shaft had snapped off. The front three connecting rods show signs of overheating. Do you think I should rework the connecting rods or just replace them?

How much does a new connecting rod cost vs. reworking it?

Replace them. Get them balanced as a set with the new ones.

If the rods show visible signs of getting too hot (I assume they are discolored from heat which would probably weaken them) I would replace them.
