Can I ask why you put a diff temp gauge in? Is it because of your big tries?

To see if it is getting hot when I am wheeling or towing. I just like telemetry of all kind.

so if you were putting in a gauge would you go with a a/f ratio gauge or a vac gauge?

Well, I have never run a vac gauge, so I can't say for sure on that. I currently run 4 aftermarket gauges. One is a VDO tach mounted in a steering column pod because my truck did not come with the factory tach. Then I have Autometer trans temp and a diff temp guages mounted in a double guage pod just below my ash tray. Lastly, I have the Split Second air/fuel meter mounted under the top lip of the dash just to the right of my steering wheel. It gets a lot of questions from passnegers, but I like having the telemetry.

I have a trans temp gauge and an A/F gauge. The trans temp gauge has been very useful.

The A/F gauge is pretty useless unless you are running some sort of tuning solution, or you have a roe controller that can adjust the A/F ratio.

I actually had a young kid ask me if my truck was boosted when he saw my pillar gauges. Too much fast and the furious, LOL.

I do have an A/F controller too, so I guess that's why I like the a/f meter.

Thanks guys. I'm going with a vacuum gauge just because it's simple and cheap to hook up, plus my truck seems to have a vac leak somewhere and a gauge will help in diagnosing that.
