Exclamation Need a little Advice Please

My truck is a 99 ram 1500 4x4 sport
Auto trans 5.9 360
Am knee deep in my engine swap

What is the easiest way to get to the top trans/engine bolts
Cant really see away to get them from the bottom and the top is awful tight

Besides a few small things thats all i need to do before it comes out

Ended up cutting all of the exhaust to cat bolts

Any helpful advice would be great

Go from underneath, with a LONG extension, (three feet or better...) and a universal joint on the end. Having a friend up top, to guide the socket onto the bolt (if you can't see) helps a bunch too.

I toss my 7 year old grandson INTO the engine compartment, show him what I want to happen, and have HIM help me. Those little hands are GREAT for such things.

(we won't talking about paying a nice young lady ten bucks to stick her hand into an oil pan to fish out gear parts from a Mustang II, I didn't really do that. Nope.)
